COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Accredited Payables Solutions Consultant (APSC) and Accredited Payables Solutions Provider (APSP) designations indicate proof of accounts payable expertise by passing a comprehensive exam.

APSC and APSP Certifications are open to all persons and companies that supply a product or service to the accounts payable community. The certification is administered by The Accounts Payable Network, and its selected agents, to those who successfully complete the examination and maintain continuing professional education standards. Certification is granted for a two-year period, automatically renewable for those who continue to meet these standards.

The Accredited Payables Solutions Consultant (APSC) is designed for the individual who is a supplier to the AP marketplace. The APSC accreditation signifies that the individual has demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to have an overall understanding of AP processes.

The Accredited Payables Solutions Provider (APSP) is designed for the company that has chosen to have its sales, development and support teams become certified. A minimum of 75% of team members for an AP supplier must hold their APSC certification. Suppliers achieving a 95% accreditation rate may hold Platinum Accreditation.

The exam is robust and challenging, and covers the following topics, which are covered by section in the APSC/APSP Certification Program preparatory text book:

2.   Process Functions
3.   Tax & Regulatory
4.   Travel & Entertainment
5.   Technology
6.   Other Non-processing Related Strategies
7.   Supplier Relations Management

Candidates may take the exam on paper at live training events or through approved proctored sessions. Each exam comprises 80 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will have 90 minutes to complete the exam.
